
KTAR News and COLD Season 2 from KSL NewsRadio Receive Marconi Awards

COLD Season 2 from KSL NewsRadio, Salt Lake City, Utah, and KTAR News Phoenix, Arizona, were awarded the prestigious National Association of Broadcaster Marconi Awards. The awards were presented at a ceremony in New York City on October 19th.
The National Association of Broadcaster’s Marconi Radio Awards are given to radio stations and outstanding on air personalities to recognize excellence in radio.
COLD Season 2 Justice for Joyce was named Best Radio Podcast of the Year. “We have an outstanding podcast team, led by Sheryl Worsley, and are extremely proud of this well deserved recognition They produce podcasts, like COLD, that help shine a light on difficult topics,” said Tanya Vea, Executive Vice President and Market Manager, Bonneville International.
KTAR News won the highly coveted award for Legendary Station of the Year. “For more than 100 years, KTAR has been built on the foundation of broadcasting legends,” said Ryan Hatch, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Bonneville Phoenix .“We are honored and thrilled to win one of the most coveted awards in broadcasting.”

Marconi finalists were selected by a task force of broadcasters, and the winners were voted on by the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Selection Academy The votes were tabulated by an independent firm.
