Pam and Angela from ‘The Office’ just recreated a classic scene with a festive twist

Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey tried to recreate a classic scene from “The Office,” but it didn’t go so well.

Fischer, who played Pam, and Kinsey, who played Angela, are friends in real life. Kinsey asked Fischer to appear on her YouTube cooking show this week and the two decided to reshoot a modern scene from the season 4 episode “Fun Run.”

In that episode, Michael Scott (Steve Carell) hits Meredith with his car and Angela asks Dwight to take care of her sick cat (he kills it out of mercy). Angela gets suspicious that her cat didn’t die naturally and suspects Dwight (Rainn Wilson) did it, Uproxx notes.

So Kinsey and Fischer decided to reenact a scene from the episode:

“This scene, like, we laughed so many times the director took a break — gave us a break,” Kinsey said. “Like, ‘ladies, I think you need a minute.’”

Fischer hyped they were going to film the show in one scene. That clearly didn’t work out.
