KSL Sports Zone to Feature Deep Coverage of Local College and High School Football Teams During 2022-23 Season

SALT LAKE CITY–KSL Sports Zone’s deep coverage of local college and high school football teams will feature favorite on-air personalities bringing fans analysis, live games, sideline reporting, NIL interviews and the biggest moments in the sport for the 2022-23 season.
Hourly Updates
Beginning on August 22nd, KSL Sports Zone will feature hourly updates on the BYU Cougars at 30 minutes on the hour and on the Utes at 50 minutes on the hour.
Preview Shows
The BYU Preview Show will air Wednesday from 1-3 PM and the Utah Preview Show will air Thursdays from 1-3 PM.
Football Fridays with Alema & Mac
On Fridays, veteran commentator Alema Harrington and legendary football coach Ron McBride will join Hans Olsen and Scott Garrard from 1-3 to talk about all things college football. Whether it is the Utes or the Cougars, these two bring their unique football experiences and insight to the show.
Utah State Football Broadcasts
KSL Sports Zone will broadcast every Utah State football game on 1280 AM.
Blake Anderson Weekly Interviews
The Head Coach of the Utah State Football team will join DJ and PK every Monday morning at 9:30 and Hans Olsen and Scott Garrard every Tuesday at 12:05 to talk Aggie football.
Pre/Post Game Shows
The Zone gets you ready for kickoff for every Utah and BYU game all season long with pregame coverage leading right up to kickoff for the Utes and the Cougars. And as soon as the game ends, the Zone will be on the air breaking down every moment of the game.
Weber State
Weber State Head Coach Jay Hill will join Jake and Ben every Tuesday throughout the season to talk Weber State Football.
Utah State
The Zone is the exclusive radio home of the defending Mountain West Conference champion Utah State Aggies. All the play-by-play action can be heard on 1280 AM.
The Players’ Club
The state’s top college football athletes including Van Fillinger, Ben Bywater, Gunner Romney, Cole Bishop, Logan Bonner, Houston Heimuli, Jaren Hall and Devin Kafais will join KSL Sports Zone hosts for in depth interviews.
High School Football
Game Night Live Red Zone is heard every Friday Night beginning at 7 as the Zone will bring high school fans all the biggest moments from the biggest games of the week.
Las Vegas Raiders Games
In addition to comprehensive coverage of local college and high school football, KSL Sports Zone will also provide highlights and analysis of Las Vegas Raiders games.
