Three Bonneville stations nominated for Marconi Awards

SALT LAKE CITY–The National Association of Broadcasters has nominated Bonneville stations KBLX, KIRO and KYGO for Marconi Radio Awards.

“For three decades, the Marconi Awards have honored broadcast stations, industry leaders, programmers and on-air talent for their tremendous work in entertaining and informing tens of millions of listeners across the country,” said NAB Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning and Industry Affairs Steve Newberry in a news release.

KIRO is one of five finalists for News/Talk Station of the Year. KYGO has been nominated for Country Station of the Year. KBLX-FM is a finalist in the category of Urban Station of the Year. 

The winners will be announced at the NAB Radio Show in Dallas on Thursday, September 26.
