Watch: I survived the Marvel movie marathon before ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ See the footage

Apr 30, 2019

By Herb Scribner

I finally saw “Avengers: Endgame” — but it came with a price.

I attended a Marvel Studios movie marathon. We watched all 22 Marvel Cinematic Universe films back to back to back to back in the lead-up to “Avengers: Endgame,” which earned $1.2 billion in its first weekend.

The marathon took nearly 60 hours, beginning with “Iron Man” and ending with “Endgame.”

I slept in the movie theater for the marathon. It was such a grind. I searched high and low for dinner. I ate five buckets of popcorn and drank nearly a dozen cups of soda. I was swarmed with the stench of smelly feet.

And I survived.

My coverage generated enough buzz that CNN reached out and chatted with me about the experience, too.

Learn about my experience of the marathon in the YouTube video below.
