Disneyland’s ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’ will have really strict time slots
Apr 24, 2019
Disney reportedly sent guests emails that say those who have hotel reservations will have one time slot per guest.
“Each reservation grants one reserved space for each hotel guest over the age of 3. The reservations, however, run for a strict time slot of about four hours. The email about the reservations make it clear that the time slots are to be taken very seriously. Should you decide to leave ‘Galaxy’s Edge’ early, you will not be allowed back,” according to Polygon.
The email says that guests will be asked to leave at the end of their time periods, Polygon reports.
All of the Disney properties at the Disneyland resort have been booked for the night of May 30, the night before the park opens. That includes Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Paradise Pier and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel.
However, Disney announced Monday that reservations for Disneyland Park will be available on May 2, and guests can book a stay at the Disneyland Resort Hotel right now, according to a press release emailed to the Deseret News.
We already know that time spent in the park will be tight. Disneyland will reportedly give out bathroom passes to guests so they can leave a line and return without losing their spot, which I reported on for the Deseret News.
“Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” will open its doors on May 31 at Disneyland and Aug. 29 in Orlando’s Disney World.
