Watch the first nostalgia-packed ‘Lion King’ trailer

A shining new trailer has brought our first real look at Disney’s “The Lion King” live-action remake.

Watch the trailer below

Falling just under two minutes, the trailer is a nostalgia-packed story featuring several first looks from the film.

Highlights

  • We hear James Earl Jones returning to voice Mufasa.
  • We get our first look at Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and his band of hyenas.
  • We see young Simba (JD McCrary) interacting with Zazu (John Oliver).
  • The infamous stampede is shown.
  • Simba (Donald Glover) and Nala (Beyonce) are seen together for the first time.
  • Pumbaa (Seth Rogen) and Timon (Billy Eichner) get their first feature.
