Beyonce ‘Homecoming’ documentary coming to Netflix

Beyonce is coming to Netflix.
Netflix shared a new trailer for Beyonce’s new “Homecoming” special on Monday. The documentary will focus on her 2018 Coachella performance.
Netflix released the trailer one day after sharing an image of a yellow box with the word “Homecoming” written inside with an air date of April 17.

The release date will be between Coachella’s two events this year, which run from April 12 to 14 and then April 19 to 21, according to USA Today.
According to USA Today, the documentary will be “an intimate look at Beyoncé’s historic 2018 Coachella performance that paid homage to America’s historically black colleges and universities.”
And it will include “candid footage and interviews detailing the preparation and powerful intent behind her vision.”
Beyonce was the first woman of color to headline the Coachella festival, according to CNN.
Flashback: Last year, Beyonce launched a new scholarship program called “Homecoming Scholars Award Program,” which gave $25,000 scholarships to four Historically Black Colleges and Universities to award to students, CNN reports.
