Lori Loughlin’s daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella Giannulli remain at USC, according to school

Lori Loughlin’s daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Giannulli, remain students at the University of Southern California.
- USC released a statement Monday about the status of the two students, whose parents were named among dozens more in a college admissions bribery scandal. Media reports from TMZ and Elle suggested that Olivia and Isabella had left the university. But USC wanted to clear the air.
- “We have confirmed that both Olivia Giannulli and Isabella Giannulli still are enrolled,” USC media relations specialist Ron Mackovitch said in a statement to NBC News. “USC is conducting a case-by-case review for current students and graduates that may be connected to the scheme alleged by the government and will make informed decisions as those reviews are completed.”
Flashback: Last week, TMZ reported that the two students had “formally dropped out and withdrawn from USC” because of the college admissions scandal, according to USA Today.
Context: Parents Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have been accused of bribing college officials with payments of about $500,000 to help their children get into USC as crew team recruits, even though they had never participated in crew before, according to The Associated Press. Loughlin and Giannulli were released on $1 million bond. They are scheduled to appear in court on April 3.
One Jade thing: Olivia Jade reportedly feels her parents “ruined” her life because of the scandal. The YouTube star — who has more than 1.9 million followers — was dropped by several sponsors in the immediate aftermath of the scandal, which I wrote about for the Deseret News.
- Jade said in one of her previous YouTube videos that she wasn’t too thrilled with college, USA Today reports. She later apologized for the comments she made.
- “I don’t know how much of school I’m going to attend. But I do want the experience of, like, game days, partying,” she said in one video. “I don’t really care about school, as you guys all know.”
