Business Insider has taken a deep look into the lives of “Fixer Upper” couple Chip and Joanna Gaines.
The couple, who are currently raising five children in Waco, Texas, rose to fame for their television show “Fixer Upper,” in which they helped people turn run-down houses into the homes of their dreams.
The Gaines met in Waco, where they began a business centered around flipping houses.
- “Since then, their Magnolia brand has grown from a little storefront to an entire empire boasting home goods and needs, various real estate ventures, books and more,” according to Business Insider. “They bought a space in downtown Waco and turned it into the complex now known as The Silos, filled the space with an eponymous market and bakery, built a breakfast restaurant close by and published a cookbook.”
