New raw footage from a helicopter flight school has given us a brief glimpse into Disneyland’s “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” theme park.
What happened: Rogue Aviation, a California-based helicopter flight school and aerial film company, shot footage of the upcoming theme park, showing sections of rock-based locations and another urban, skyscraper area.
The Millennium Falcon also makes a brief appearance at the theme park, buried among towers and rock.

Head over to Walt Disney World News Today to catch a glimpse of the helicopter’s photos of the park.
Disney says the “Galaxy’s Edge” park is “one of the most detailed and immersive lands ever created in Disney Parks history.”
- The park will be based on a “Star Wars” planet called Batuu, which is a home for smugglers and adventures.
- It will have two sections — one based around the First Order and another centered around the Resistance. Both groups are warring factions in the modern “Star Wars” trilogy.
Back in March, Disney shared its own flyover video of the park’s construction.
- Disney released two trailers for the park back in November, too.
The park will open in summer 2019 at Disneyland and fall 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
