KSL TV Sponsors Suicide Prevention Walk

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – It’s one of the biggest crowds you’ll ever see in Liberty Park. Nearly 8,000 people came together Saturday for the “Out of Darkness” walk, all with the goal of raising money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

KSL TV was a Platinum sponsor and provided comprehensive coverage of the event, including broadcasting the walk live on Facebook.

“It’s heartbreaking to see so many names of those lost, and to be surrounded by the people who love them,” said Tanya Vea, Vice President and General Manager of Bonneville Salt Lake. “At the same time, so much hope that awareness will help save lives.”

The event raised $268,818 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
