98.7 The Peak has the most fun in Phoenix. You never know what you're going to hear because we play Whatever We Want. Like you, we like all kinds of music: Prince, Kelly Clarkson, U2, No Doubt, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bon Jovi, Adele, Queen and so many more! We'll also surprise you with those songs that you just don't hear much anymore. With all this music, there's no way we would repeat the same song in the same day.
98.7 The Peak prides itself on entertaining the Valley of the Sun with the best variety of music, but our job doesn't end there. We have a duty to improve our hometown.
2012 saw the implementation of Random Acts of Peakness, a program that helps us help others every day. With Random Acts of Peakness, when a Peak listener wins, so does the community. For every prize we gave away on air, we donate a dollar to the charity partner. Random Acts of Peakness helps us deliver on bigger community needs as well.
Once a year we let the Peak audience take over with Peak Pay to Play, where listeners "pay" to get their favorite song on the air. Then we donate all the money to a local charity.
